If you remember Toronto’s Urban music scene last year in 2016, rappers Puffy L’z and Smoke Dawg got in a bad brawl with one time crew member “Mo-G.”  It was all over the issue of Mo-G calling out OVO and Drake, who they allegedly had been writing music for and giving styles.   Well, it looks like the Ethiopian rappers may get a pay off for their loyalty to the big boss.  Today, Drake posted and IG co-sign to Smoke and Puffy, and more.

“Puffy @bibii_ano” wrote the 6 god for the caption of the first picture.

The second pic, “Smoke ? @smokedawg.”

The two rappers are part of the viral crew called the Halal Gang.  Mo-G was also a popular part of the group at one time, providing many of the dance moves and energy.  Drake even took the “Ginobli” dance move from the ‘Ballin like Wiggins’ rapper, and made it more famous with the “No Shopping” music video featuring French Montana.

The group is not officially OVO, according to various internet sources. However, they do get paid by Aubrey Graham.   Drake also made an appearance at the Halal Gang’s show in London last week.  The crew was in Europe making rounds for interviews and club appearances.
