If you’re not aware, Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley is in a heated beef right now. He dissed slain Gangster Disciple gang member & rapper Lil JoJo in his song “No Effort.” The quick 2-line mention has the D-town artist’s fan base split in the Chi and also his life in danger. His recent concert was cancelled after various GD friends and associates of JoJo made it clear they were ready to make the event a hazard for all attending.
“Extendo on the glock, that b–ch long as a pogo / Let Lil Durk music get you hype and join JoJo” raps Tee Grizzley on the song.
Responses from GD members about disrespecting the dead Chi-town rapper have come from multiple popular figures in the music scene along with kids in the streets. P.Rico, King Yella, FBG Duck, and Swagg Dinero are amongst those who have come forward to speak on the disrespectful rhyme.
Tee Grizzley is not letting that bother him however it appears. He stopped in Chicago yesterday and added salt to the ‘wound’ of JoJo’s friends. TG went to the block of the slain rapper’s enemies. Tee posed with former Chief Keef associate Lil Reese of 300 O-Block. The ‘Don’t Like’ featured rapper was on camera threatening to kill JoJo before his untimely demise and many think he’s involved with the killing of JoJo.
Why insert yourself in a beef this serious? It is not clear. However, it’s clearly not safe for Tee Grizzley in Chicago at this point, no matter how ‘tough’ he may be in the streets.
