LiAngelo & LaMello Ball′s Chino Hills High School Win 1st Playoff Game

A High School basketball game is not good if it is not a competition.   The players need to be shooting it out back to back, shot for shot.   There needs to be multiple college-ready athletes on both teams with athleticism and high b-ball IQs.   These things exactly are what made LiAngelo and LaMello Ball’s Chino Hills vs Birmingham High School Basketball playoff game great.

The California HS b-ball playoff opener, Chino vs Birmingham saw over 10 dunks completed by the time the buzzer ended the game.  LiAngelo Ball, older brother of LaMello and graduating senior, put up an amazing 52 points.  From those fifty-two points LiAngelo hit five 3-pointers, was 100% at the free-throw line, got a 2 handed flush dunk on a fast break.

LiAngelo’s help was not younger brother and sharp-shooter LaMello Ball for this playoff opener as normal reads the stats on  Scorebooklive.com.  Instead, forward Elizjah Scott assisted the win with 21 points and African dunk specialist, Ofure Ujadughele, added 20 points.  ‘Mello’ was rather quiet, focusing on assisting others and being a diversion for defenders than shooting 3-pointers all game as normal.
